Gradow

Terms of Service

Draft — last reviewed 2026-09-02

What Gradow is

Gradow is software for schools, tuition classes, and other education institutes (“Institutes”) to manage students, teachers, classes, attendance, and fees. These terms apply to anyone who creates a Gradow account or is given access to one through an Institute.

The company behind Gradow

Pending — needs a lawyer, not code. These terms should name the legal entity you’d be agreeing with, and a registered address. Neither exists in the codebase to check, so this stays as an open item for the owner rather than an invented one.

Governing law

Pending — needs a lawyer, not code. Which country’s law governs these terms, and where a dispute would be handled, is a legal decision this draft doesn’t make. Left as an open item rather than a guess.

Accounts and access

  • A person founds an Institute by signing up directly, or joins one by accepting an invitation from an Admin at that Institute.
  • One account can found up to five Institutes. This is a real, enforced limit in the product today, not a marketing figure.
  • Being on an Institute’s roll (as a student or teacher) does not require a Gradow account — an Institute can keep someone’s records without ever inviting them to log in, and most students never receive a login at all.
  • You’re responsible for keeping your own login credentials to yourself, and for anything that happens under your account.

Your responsibility for the data you add

If you’re an Institute Admin, you’re responsible for the accuracy of the student, teacher, and guardian information you enter into Gradow, and for having the right — under your own arrangements with the families and staff you serve — to hold and enter that information. Gradow provides the tool; the Institute decides what goes into it.

Fees and payment

Gradow has no payment processing built into the product at all — there is no payment gateway anywhere in the system. The “Fees” feature lets an Institute record, by hand, whether a student’s charge has been paid; it never collects, moves, or stores any card, bank, or payment detail. Any arrangement for an Institute to actually pay Gradow for the product (a subscription or otherwise) is handled separately and isn’t covered by these terms today.

Availability and changes

Gradow is under active development. We don’t currently offer an uptime guarantee or service-level commitment, and features may be added, changed, or removed as the product evolves. We’ll aim to communicate changes that materially affect how an Institute uses the product, but this isn’t a formal notice commitment.

Acceptable use

Use Gradow only for its intended purpose — managing a real education institute’s students, teachers, classes, and related records. Don’t use it to store data you don’t have the right to hold, attempt to access another Institute’s data, or interfere with the service’s normal operation.

Ending an account

An Institute Admin can remove a person from the roll or end their own Institute’s use of Gradow at any time. As described in our Privacy Policy, removing a record from active use today means archiving it, not permanently erasing it — history like attendance and past enrolment is kept for the Institute’s own records.
